Who I am
I was born and raised in a small provincial town in Vietnam. I came to the U.S. for a master's in Computer Science at the University of Chicago (ranked top 6 in the U.S., 2026). I never imagined I would study abroad, and neither did anyone else. After graduating, I moved to New York City to live and work, the legendary "American Dream" itself.
My journey, of course, was not a straight line. No mentor, no financial cushion, and certainly no one I knew in America. That's why I created this site: to give talented young people in Vietnam a chance to develop their potential in a country with one of the best education systems in the world.
I didn't come to America to study. I came to find out how far I could go.
Speaking a language I didn't use every day. Living inside a social system I didn't know. Learning to connect with people who grew up in a different culture. Changing how I think to fit into a new environment. None of it was easy. And I didn't know a single person who could show me how.
I'm building this platform with specific, clear information for people standing where I once stood, with no information and no direction.
